Subject: Re: [Simmons Drums] the cost

If I can add my thoughts ...
I think it's all relative really...

We could say that is the ebay temptation...
There are still SDSV about 250/300 euro (about 500/600$ at the moment)
for the 5 modules Brain...
& some few guys trying (& sometimes succeeding) to sell about the
prices Jesper is talking about...
Pads are not really valuable (for a drummer ; too hard & noisy
surfaces) except for some few collectors , ultra Simmons fan, or even
people who don,'t know it ...
So if you look on ebay where main of these guys (who like profit &
speculation) are acting, it will be about 700...
Main of the units I see , (or take notice to my attention), are going
for about 400/500 (800/1000, we could speak of an average price.

so after this is a matter of choosing where to position yourself
(do you need badly some money, do you like money, do you want a good
home for your Unit, do you just want not to see it anymore... etc ...)

Of course this is only my advice...

Hope this help ,

Patrice.
