Oh, OK. This morning it conked me in the head that I had a pearl tom mount that I use along with the Tama Air-Ride system on my DW snare. It has the Metric equivalent T-handle nut but beefier and a tad shorter. Those Pearl nuts seem to fit great on the SDSV pads, so I'll be replacing the factory ones with these if I can get them reasonably. They look a million times better too.
I hate to say this since I'm sure it will piss a few people off, but I'd look for a better quality pad if I were you. That is if you have the intention of keeping it for your own use. I'd go with the SDS 9's as they are almost the easiest to come by these days and feel best out of all the rubbers ( sorry Trojan !!! ). I personally like the Hexapads the best since they utilize acoustic heads although I realize they are almost impossible to find, especially as a complete kit.
In the meantime, I'll keep my eyes and ears open

PS - For the record, I do not have Pearl nuts. While they aren't necessarily huge, I'm still kinda proud.....
After checking against one from an SDS V pad, the ones for the 7 pads are 3/8" longer - 1
15/16".
