I actually like the Octapad, although the pads themselves are a little
too rigid. I use it for triggering non-percussion sounds, mostly.

By the way, has anyone had a chance to listen to that audio file I
posted of my possibly malfunctioning SDS1? I'd really value an opinion
of what might be the issue with the distortion I'm hearing.
