It was more of an "us" I meant. I think I've seen these tendencies
before and it's natural since many are collectors and enthusiasts. Every
time something rare is mentioned the list reacts and wants to buy etc.
I feel I'm also a part of this...

Sure... But regarding Ebay I surf both .de and co.uk once every week and
I tend to add stuff I own to my watch list to keep up to date with
current "value" (knowing this is a debatable word). I seldom see SDS-V's
at the prices you mentioned, therefor I reacted to that. I still
consider the SDS-2000 cheap and unwanted so we probably can agree on the
entire batch's value. ;)

True. I also don't like people who just buys to resell. Most of us don't
though we still like to get the money back and maybe with a little
profit if we do sell...

No problem, it might have been languages playing tricks on both of us.
It's an interesting debate too so don't stop here listees!
Maybe time to start a new thread that shows how much we maniacs value
