Hi Dean,
the selectorpad has a bracket on the back, just like the SDS8 brain (I
guess both use the same chassis template) which makes it pretty easy
to build your own mounting system. I don't know wether Simmons ever
offered an official mounting adaptor.
However. In this flyer from 1984
(
http://195.37.239.143/?area=downloads&download_id=236 page 4) you can
see that the pad is mounted using an ordinary tom arm likely extended
by some kind of metal tongue. Another possibility is to weld two
memory locks on the backside of the chassis ;-) (seriously: That would
work!)
Later and because all desktop models are of the same size Simmons
offered a special desk for the rack (have a look at this hardware
