Sure, if the SDS-2 would be considered a rarity then it would be worth
copying, but I doubt it was. People sold off SDS-V's and the likes at the
time. But keep the discussion flowing, it would be nice to hear more views.
:)

It still sounds crappy and I kind of like it for that. It also acts as a
good shelf for my SDS-7 which has no rack ears.
If it's a hoax altogether I'm leaning against the builder wanting to name it
something cool and found no SDS-2 in the Simmons catalogue and went for
that...
