Hi !

I have what you need !

Unfortunately I'm out on tour right now and have no access to my library.

What you need to do is to send a square wave pulse of about 3V to the SDS.

Connect to the gate input. Set the sync switch to on.

The SDS will advance one step for each pulse it recieves. If you activate the divide by 6 switch, the SDS will advance one step for each 6 pulses.

The rotary gate selector on the back is a divider for the gate out.

My SDS doesn't have the Midi option so I can't help you with that. Other SDS-6 owners that have the option in theirs reports that it doesn't work. The manual ( original )doesn't mention Midi.

I'm not sure that your SBX-10 is capable to drive the SDS. My SDS is very sensitive to what type of pulse you send to it. Fortunately I have four Frienchip SRC's that have variable voltage and pulse width on it's clock outputs. Good luck in finding one though!

You might need to upgrade your synchronizer. No, mine ain't for sale ;-)

I can scan the manual for you but it will have to wait a couple of weeks as I'm to tied up right now.
