The great simmons drum book is a good start I think but that sucker is
expensive 2nd hand so go to a good library or google away. I have parts of
it xeroxed... I bet such a drummer added new gear all the time and stayed up
to date with what simmons offered.

IMHO there is noone thinking like Dave Simmons did back then, but most
people thinks that that is a good idea. We who are on this mailinglist are
the poor remnants who disagree. ;)

I'm no Rush-fan at all, but I can appreciate the overkill of the setup at
least! :)
