Jesper,
Lesser men would have missed that! It is indeed Mattel Synsonics. It is
the pro model! "Pro model?!" you ask? Yes, pro model. It has a 3 small memory
banks. You can program 3 different beats. The snare is a short burst of noise,
the cymbal is a long burst of noise. The 2 toms are nasty little thuds but
you can tune one of them all the way up to Mars for that annoying "disco tom"
sound. The bass drum is an annoying low pitched pop. Your question has prompted
me to play w/ it................................. I can't believe it! The
batteries still work after 2 years! I never play w/ it. It needs a noise gate. It
sounds like a toy. It can't be synced. It won't keep time on it's own if it's
plugged into a bad AC socket. It stays steady on batteries, though. It's also
grey w/ black pads as opposed to the traditional black w/ grey pads so when
your friends come over they know you're not playing around. You got the Pro
model!
