We keep our fingers crossed for you...

In the next few days I'll hear from former Ultravox live drummer if my
alternative shipping idea from the UK will work. I wouldn't mind some finger
crossing there either since prices has gone up recently at the "normal"
place...

How weird is an SDS-7 with eight card containing the same octaban sound?! ;)

Heya - an update...and "HI!" to fellow Aussie Clae :-)

My SDS8 has been repaired and is in transit from Melbourne back to
Brisbane. Apparently several busted solder joints on the main board,
the service guy says it's all working perfectly now (fingers crossed).

BTW this guy (Derek at Logitronics if you ever need repairs Clae -
he's worked on several SDS8's incl. Canham's) checked out the voltage
change done by my local service tech, says it's a good job. So
changing the voltage from 220 to 110 (or whatever) and vice-versa on
an SDS8 ∗is∗ just a simple re-wiring job.

I'll update in a couple of days when my module arrives...

Cheers,
Ken.
