Hi all

Along with my counterpart in Europe Sibi, I was the Simmons UK product
specialist/resident drummer/clinician/customer support person from the
arrival of the first SDS right up to when we unleashed the almightly SDX.

Iâ?Tm amazed at the Guitar Centre story! Itâ?Ts nothing more than an
attempt to make you â?" the customers â?" believe you are getting a
Simmons-designed kit, with all the history that goes with the name.
The R&D, the robust build, and yes â?" even customer support from guys
like me. Well, youâ?Tre not. The SD5K kit you see from Guitar Centre
is an inexpensive import from the far East which if you search, can be
found badged-up with any number of distributor names. Buy it by all
means, but donâ?Tt think youâ?Tre getting a Simmons kit. People in the
know will remind you that a prancing stallion on a VW doth not a
Ferrari make!

Baz
