Hello Paul,
I thought the SD5k sounded okay when I tried it. It was probably
targeted at the beginner level but it still has some good sounds. I
just wish it had a MIDI in port.
The one thing I really miss about the old simmons kits?
They really had the look down good. I think they were the first kits
that were made to be played and seen. Most electronic kits even
today are made to sit in someones house for practice (my opinion).
They don't look good. Dave Simmons was really on to something by
making his kit the way he did. I miss that aspect of the electronic
drum kit.
