Don't mention the second one... it's like that Fawlty Towers episode where
Basil is so afraid of mentioning the war when a group of germans are

It sounds more like ringmodulated or probably the SSM-Chip Resonance is
modulated by a hispeed LFO (FM).

Nice, but that may be the components and the tweakable stuff as you say. I
recently ripped a couple of old network cards for PCs apart and found
prom-sized ICs that worked fine in the SDS-1s. You would've imagined they
sounding the same - right? They didn't even though the cards were all the
same (I ripped 8 ICs).

Cool - I'll keep my eyes opened then. Lovely with a 478. I think there are
at least three on the list now...
