Michael
Thanks for the info. Checked out the website........fantastic. I'll open up the SDS7 and take a look at the Eprom. I have a chance to buy an SDX, would you consider this a good unit, and if so is it likely to be reliable or easy to work on.
Thanks
Andrew

Hi.
If you are able to burn Eproms by yourself, you can download the original
.bin-file of the snare from www.simmonsmuseum.com. If not, you can contact
me under
michael.buchner@... for a replacement Eprom. The original
SDS7 snare is called "tight snare" or later "tight rock snare". Check your
SDS7 snare-card if it is a 8 or a 16K card. And check the card itself with
another Eprom, maybe your snare Eprom is still working, but the card is bad.
