At that time Simmons kit were used a lot for "pretending to play" in the
recording TV studio , & having a modern look ...
Even if they were seen all the time they didn't play as much as they were
seen ...
& to complicate things they might even have triggered a Linn Drum from
Simmons pads via a trigger interface ...
It was very hard to know what came from what !
