That really threw me off!!! Linn, Oberheim, and Simmons all used the same EPROMs. They used the 2764 and the 27128. I found out in "The Cars: Complete Greatest Hits" in the fron cover/booklet that in the album "Heartbeat City", their drummer really used a Linn drum machine (As I have seen in the videos, their drummer played a Simmons kit).
