It pays to be cautious. I've read on this group that there's a guy selling
sub-par chips on Ebay. His feature a laser printed label that look like the
original but they sound awful, so I've heard. I sell EPROMs for Simmons but I
clone originals bit for bit or I make entirely new ones. I use labels that
look similar to Simmons but my name is on them. I would ask the seller how he
copied his chips. If he says he used a Simmons EPB, don't bother. Hold out for
originals or buy from a guy who knows what he is doing.
