welllllllll, what I did last night was plug them both in to charge
over night, this morning the one that had died was doing the same as
the flashing PATCH 00 nonsense the other one was doing, so I fiddled
around with the buttons reckoning on an initialise command - and lo
and behold, pressing forwards and backwards buttons - POW! they both
work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RESULT!
