Hi Jesper!
I have a Polysix for about 22 years now and it is still the first battery. I have checked it only last week and will have replaced it in the next days... What a lucky guy am I? 22 years with the first battery and no leakage... :-)
I just had my SDS7 checked that I bought with "no function" and we found out that there is no battery inside... someone must have taken it out and did not replace it... OK, that's another way avoiding leckages... ;-)

Ever seen a Korg PolySix on the inside after a battery leak? No? OK, don't
whine! ;)
I wonder what they thought about when they placed the memory batteries in
locations where it could harm A LOT if there was a leakage... which reminds
me of checking my Chroma one of these days...
electronically yours, jesper
