I've built an external box for mine and has promised Paul some pics of the
unit...

that doesnt work properly. Too little output :-( So I would be very
interested in uying an external box that could trigger my SDS5 or SDS7.

His new version will accept higher trigger voltages, but midi2sdsII does the
work as well, though not with full "impact". I built an external box to be
able to patch the outputs around to my different drum synths. Have tested it
with SDS-V, SDS-2, SDS-IV, EH Crash Pad, Tama TS-305 and Pollard Syndrum
Quad 478 this far and it's only the Pollard that won't accept the trigs.
I've checked it on an oscilloscope and will fiddle around with gate time to
see if it can be helped.

But as someone else asked someone else here - are you familiar with a
soldering iron it's not really hard. If not, it's science fiction! ;)

Expect some delays though... Don't know if it's my setup and/or the midi2sds
but I can clearly hear the delays from pressing a key to hearing the ∗piouw∗
from one of the synths...
