Yes, I bought these rubber surfaces (in black for my black pads)for my SDS V pads. I did not glue them on the old surfaces, but removed the old ones and tried to install them by removing the metal strips around the pads and laying the new surfaces on and reattaching the metal strips. They did not fit quite right and still occasionally work themselves from under the strip.
They were not available for the bass pad, apparently, so my bass pad still has the acrylic surface and not yet back in my current set up. Since, I'm not able to get enough of a price for the bass pad to be able to part with it, it will be put back on the rack (I do have one unused input on one of my TMIs). My current set-up is a jumble of Simmons history with SDS V pads, several SDS 7 type pads, and two stereo pads. I don't remember anyone else mentioning using these stereo pads. They are problematic, but somewhat useful. Anybody else have them?
