Hi all!
I just found this group on a whim. I'm a frustrated Simmons abuser. I
can't believe the lack of information and wealth of misinformation
available on the net!
I'm a drummer by trade but also play keys and compose electronica of
sorts. Mostly Techno-Industrial. I have my own home studio w/ an
array of toys that includes two SDS-7s(I only run one. One is for
parts.)An SDS-1000, two MTMs, a TMI (makes a nice paperweight when
you have 2 MTMs.) I also have a Roland TD-7 kit from '95 as well as
some Tama Techstar modules. I even have those shitty little mixers
that Simmons used to make. SPM 8:2 or something? Noisy but handy when
you run out of channels on your real mixer. I'm awaiting the shipment
of an SDS-5 kit that includes a cymbal module! Should get to me next
week.
