Hi,
I'd like to know what you people think of the last 2 steps in the Pulsar
technique:
- applying pure silver powder over the traces (available from Cool-Amp).
- green translucent overcoat spray available from Testors.
I understand the silver will help in the soldering, but is it a noticeable
difference from the point of view of an amateur? Are we talking 25%
improvement or 1/16th of 1%?
The green translucent paint will give a professional look and prevent
corrosion, but are there cheaper alternatives? Testors products may be of
EXCELLENT quality, but they are not cheap nor are they available in large
quantities. Has anyone found an acceptable substitute?
What about the silkscreen? I'd like to protect that as well, can an ordinary
clear suffice?
Robert
