Subject: Tool Depth-Cutting Depth

Hi All,
When milling circuit boards there is depth setting. One
is in the software and the other is how long you set the bit
in the spindle. Even if you set the depth in the software you
still have to make sure the depth matches at the machine. Evertime
you change a bit in your machine this number changes.
The solution is to make a GAUGE. Everytime you change your bit
set it with a GAUGE. Every machine will have a different cutting
depth. Your machine will always be the same if you use a GAUGE. I
will upload a drawing of the GAUGE I use. Use this to make one for
your machine. This concept works with all milling machines.
