Hello all been a long time since i posted really enjoy learning from
you all. A few years back when I wrote magazine articles for hobby
contruction I had to supply pc boards some of which I made myself.
I used a negative resist like kpr. I had a negative exposure frame
with a sheet of window glass and used a piece of small bubble wrap
above the film to apply even presure on the coated board and film.
some times it would not wash off clean with a thin film of resist
remaining. I was exposing with sunlight long story short the heat
from the sun or (sunlamp was tried also) fogging the resist. after
much experimenting I exposed the board below a bug zapper for 4 min.
with great sucsess the solvent developer yielding a clean, ready to
etch immage. lesson learned don't expose to too much temp. I would
coat the board with a foam brush and leave the coated in a shoebox
to dry horiz. over night
dust free. I have a lot copper clad on hand mostly fr-4 various
thicknesses thought about sell it on ebay. don't think I will return
to writing hobby project articles anymore the magazines don't exist
that I contracted with. So those that need some clad pieces contact
me
