Slavko,
Most of the Brother printers I have experimented with have the paper
path go THROUGH the actual toner cartridge, which has given me a lot
of problems getting clearance for a pcb. The path is pretty straight,
so I would guess it's possible, but would have to be repeated each
time you changed the toner or drum. Perhaps the HL2230 is different.
If you send me the service manual I'll be happy to take a look at it
and help in any way I can.
