Yep, works great, I also use 35% H202.  Don't throw the used etchant out, just add a little H202 every time you etch to regenerate it - I use about 1 cap in 500ml of etchant and that's overdoing it, pour in the cap of H202, stir, add board. 

Top it up with a little acid now and then.

Dilute it down until it's just below the fuming point, makes it much more pleasant to work with and doesn't affect the performance.

No need to be very exacting about it.
