Small drills for Machining or Jewellery use are sometimes sharpened with
what they call a Wish Bone Sharpener. This is a low tech device with
wheels that rubs along a grindstone, diamond plate, or sheet of fine
sandpaper. WHile low tech it does work well on drills - I've used it on
a couple of carbide drills.

There was an article online at the address below or I can send info if
anyone wishes it including photos & instructions from a commercial unit
like shown in the beginning of the article. I actually have the
complete article saved as a file too that I can link to in someone wants it.
