A few tips and tricks for using toner transfer paper can be found in a .pdf

http://users.rcn.com/carlott/projects.html I've found EPSON gloss photo paper makes pretty good boards. While not
as cheap as magazine pages, it is certainly cheaper then the dedicated
stuff, (and maybe easier to find)
