Subject: Re: [Homebrew_PCBs] Solder paste storage: is there such as thing as too cold?

From: Piers Goodhew <piers@...>
Date: 2009-08-16

It's made by http://www.aimsolder.com.au

I bought it at Jaycar, http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=NS3038&keywords=solder+paste&form=KEYWORD
- pretty much my only choice of walk-in-and-buy-it supplier.

Given that we're high wage anglophones, it's probably not sold widely
around the world

It worked well - it appeared to melt quickly to a sort of grey blob
(which did conduct electricity, but was not very strong). After much
more time, it suddenly went white-then-silver and the surface tension
did its thing.
