sonds much like the HF press is only a "heavy stand" then?
if you have to add the bearing shafts etc...
i think you could attach a lever for operating it and get rid of the
original press?

(without that "use youe own spindle on some rail" method).
because it is far too slow.
i think 10000 to 20000 rpm is minimum...
