Subject: RE: [Homebrew_PCBs] professional board making

Yup, it's BatchPCB.com. I've used their service many times, and have
been happy with it. They use a company in China called Gold Phoenix
(which is also where SparkFun gets all of its bare boards made - for the
products they build themselves). BatchPCB sends of a panel every other
day or so to Gold Phoenix (they are very busy) so you usually get your
boards in 20 days or less total time. BatchPCB is run by the same people
that run SparkFun.

I was so pleased with BatchPCB that I started using Gold Phoenix's
prototype PCB service myself. They allow you to put as many designs on a
panel as you want, and they will depanalize them for you. Ends up being
about $130 for a 6 day turn including shipping. 155 sq inches. I used to
make boards myself at home until I started making enough that going to
Gold Phoenix became a better choice. I still etch at home every now and
then if I want to try something real quick.

I forget where I saw it, but I saw a group that has Chinese
connections, and once
a month they send a 'pack' off to be processed. They come back about a
month
later (not via airmail). They then un-bundle the various boards and
re-ship to the
ordering individuals. ... I seem to remember it may have been a
sideline at Sparkfun,
but I could be wrong.

... I found it, batchpcb.com ... it was on a link from sparkfun.com

I hope this helps.
