Hi!
Here are some photos of my PC Exposure Unit (PCEU)...
I made very simple exposure unit with VTF bulb:
http://www.feltna.com/hardware/images/stories/exposure/IMG_8080.JPGI just "canibalised" old PC housing and divided with sheet of metal. Top
side chamber has bulb inside:
http://www.feltna.com/hardware/images/stories/exposure/IMG_8083.JPGmade a slit into one side of the housing. It works as a "shutter":
http://www.feltna.com/hardware/images/stories/exposure/IMG_8084.JPGwhen removed, UV light can pass to the exposed PCB:
http://www.feltna.com/hardware/images/stories/exposure/IMG_8086.JPGSide door should be closed after placing the PCB inside:
http://www.feltna.com/hardware/images/stories/exposure/IMG_8082.JPGand because the bulb is curtained, there is no danger for the eyes.
and finally, it takes small floor area on the table.
Components used:
- old PC housing
- VTF bulb, drilled, with UV filter sanded off, washed
- ballast
- installation material (cable, fuse, switch from the PC housing, bulb
holder...)
- couple of hen house hinges
Regards,
