Hi!

Here are some photos of my PC Exposure Unit (PCEU)...

I made very simple exposure unit with VTF bulb:

I just "canibalised" old PC housing and divided with sheet of metal. Top
side chamber has bulb inside:

made a slit into one side of the housing. It works as a "shutter":

when removed, UV light can pass to the exposed PCB:

Side door should be closed after placing the PCB inside:

and because the bulb is curtained, there is no danger for the eyes.

and finally, it takes small floor area on the table.


Components used:
- old PC housing
- VTF bulb, drilled, with UV filter sanded off, washed
- ballast
- installation material (cable, fuse, switch from the PC housing, bulb
holder...)
- couple of hen house hinges
