Does anyone know where to get these tinning crystals in the USA?

Try RS catalogue number 567-812

They are a bit expensive though, but 450g should last years if you only
make up a small amount of solution at a time (made up solution doesn't
keep for all that long, best I've got is about 4 months - but the crystals
themselves last for a long time. I keep made-up solution in one of those
expanding photo developer bottles so I can exclude as much air as
possible).
