Subject: DeskPCB getting along with Eagle

From: "Fred Smith" <imserv@...>

Some of you may have noticed one of our customers frustration last
week with interfacing Eagle to Desk PCB. I received several e-mails
from him that describe in some detail the Eagle configurations needed
to produce useful Gerber and Excellon outputs. These have been posted
on our DeskPCB user forum at http://www.imsrv.com/deskpcb

He also gave me permission to post the message, following my

Quoted message follows:

Fred,

I have to admit, after all my previous whining, and struggling to get
the
settings in Eagle PCB just right, that DeskPCB does a pretty
respectable job
of etching boards using:

- A Sherline Mill
- A Xylotex LPT stepper controller (great! & cheap)
- Master5 LPT PC software & translator (gcodes/hpgl to motion)
by Art
Fennerty
- Eagle PCB
- DeskPCB
- etching bits from Think & Tinker (10 for $70)

A heck of a lot cheaper than LPKF or T-Tech!!

Regards,

Bob
