Subject: IPS3313 was: Wooden CNC router

Hi All,

If you are building a CNC mill or a robot you might want to look into
International Rectifier's IPS3313 intelligent switch. It will handle 45
amps and 32 volts and has built in thermal and current limiting in a 5
pin TO-220 package.

I've been using them as an injector driver with a Megasquirt EFI clone
on my !950 Jeepster F-head ( don't ask! ) without a hitch where IGBTs
have had a nasty tendency to let the 'blue smoke' out.

The best news is that they are $5.05 US in singles or $3.79 for 50 on
the IRF samples website.
