Hey good idea, i'll try Steve's special ammonia cleaner (i don't dare open
the bottle with the more concentrated ammonia indoors ;-)).
Indeed - it works! Well, sort of. All the dark ink comes off, but still a
thin much more transparent red film is left on the copper.... Not sure
why. Does only come off with scrubbing, but much less scrubbing!
