Monsieur Rotwang!

Indeed. It is worth the effort to dig out the datasheets, since the chips
themselfs is capable of more than Velleman used them fore. This is a kit doomed
for heavy hacking for those having that kind of feelings in them (hehehe...).

Have you come around to bend it yeat?
For anyone interested in video, I can recommend to dig into the archives at
EBU. They have lots of usefull information available for free download in PDF
format. Amongst them is a great handbook for TV production which was a
prerequesit for TV companies in the UK. It is full of test-cases, which helps
to make you understand what is happening. Tektronix has a lovely app note on
how (the hell) to measure PAL signals. I haven't compared them, but I think
for many things they are about equal. Regardless, they are both around - get
them!
Cheers,
