I'm trying to repair a severely savaged P-600 -- have found schematics & a 
list of the "hidden sysex functions" on the web (thanks, Noteit!), but am 
unfamiliar with the basic operation of the unit.  Since there don't appear 
to be any user manuals online, can anyone tell me:
--what are the exact functions of the footswitch input (and does it take a 
two or three conductor plug);
--what is "voice defeat"  (RECORD + 7);
-- what is the voice allocation scheme?
