[sdiy] paia midi to cv

bought kris rhen's paia midi to cv and had a question about the power
connections.  the manual states that it can take from 12v to 18v DC safely,
so it looks like i'll be fine powering it off my 15v supply via the four
power connections at the back of the board.

question is, kris assembled this with the wall wart and at first i was
thinking i'd just pop it off, cut the wiring from the switch to the board
and leave the switch just to fill the hole in the faceplate.  but the
faceplate has the switch labelled as "reset."  should i just cut the wall
wart wires off and leave the switch and LED connections in place and will
that then act as a reset?
