Hi, group.

Serial # 1339 here, reporting for duty.
Recently acquired from Joseph Rivers of The Audio Playground museum.
Driven from Orlando to Jacksonville, FL in the back of a U-Haul
truck, then carried by me in a dolly all the way up to my cozy
little flat.... then finding it to be in perfect tune, 100%
functional, in beautiful, near-mint cosmetic shape.

Only thing better than this is my daughter's birth this morning. Ten
pounds-three oz and 23 inches of incredible, loud, sneezy, cooing,
beautiful joy!!

Damn, I'm a lucky MOFO!!!

Look forward to exchanging stories with you.

My next goal is to do some internal cleaning: the sliders in the
four mini-presets are a little scratchy and grainy from dirt. Since
I have the skills and knowledge of electronics the size of a gnat's
hemorrhoid, I'm sure i'll be asking the group for advice.

For now, I need a nap....

Congratulations, j, on your two new acquisitions. The CS-80 should
require less maintenance.
