Yamaha CS80

My service guy fixed up my CS-80 for me.
But wasn't able to get the initial pitchbend to work.
any good techs out there that might have any ideas,
or that would be willing to discuss it via email... with my repair guy?

Welcome to the group!

Can you give us a little more info?  What's working?  What's not
working?  Does initial touch/velocity work for volume and filter cutoff?

Did you check the pitchbend output on the TWS board? The negative pulse producing the velocity curve gives out the i-pb curve and the TRG1 ( iirc) gives out an appropriate voltage to be routed to vcos.

When he gave it back to me he told me that the initial would miss
every 4th  note...I think that's what he said. right now it does not
work at all. I only realized at the time that the initial controlled
the level and brilliance. I was not aware of the full potential of the
keyboard at the time... just happy to get to play with it. I believe
everything else works on it accept the initial touch for the level,
brilliance, and pitchbend.
