The more I've dabbled with Multis, the more I appreciate them.  If   
E-MU would implement a memory manager function in future operating 
systems, I'd glady configure my unit to have fewer patterns and songs 
and more multis and user arps. (What I've seen about the relationship 
between the hardware and OS leads me to believe such functionality is 
very doable.)

Spend a day or two getting to know multis.  They have tremendous 
potential for studio and live performance applications.  Concentrated 
time spent now will give you (1) avenues for tasks you will probably 
want to accomplish in the future and (2) possibilities you 
haven't yet dreamed of.
