I'm sure the feel is different, I just don't think the difference in feel makes up for 
the relative loss of functionality. The MPC-4k is a compromise between a 
DAW and a performance tool that in my opinion excels at neither: an XL-7 is 
more immediate, a laptop is more versatile. Obviously lots of people swear by 
them, but I'm not one of those people.
