I meant the Roland. According to the spec list it's linear-only, no 
patterns, no 
RPS, no mute buttons, no grid edit. It's basically a glorified tape 
recorder.

A friend of mine has the MC-80 and aside from the excellent RPS feature I 
didn't find it particularly interesting unless you're allergic to software 
(in which case you might be better off buying a Q-80EXE for a quarter the 
price).
