Re: [xl7] Audio routing and "hello"

2003-07-02 by mark sottilaro

Ah, OK. That makes sense. Much thanks. Upon more
manual reading I actually got a lot out of a diagram
that's in there.

On one hand, great, on the other, it kind of ruins my
idea I had for using the XL-7. My idea was to send
drums directly to a mixer, while routing other sounds
to an Electrix Repeater so they could be looped in the
audio domain and then effected in different ways.

Not being able to route a wet signal to the subs means
I'd either have to add some multieffects processor to
the chain (yet another thing!). I could use a Lexicon
MPX1 for that job but I'd lose it for post loop
processing, or I could buy another effects processor
for the job (not likely at this time due to money and
space issues) OR what I'm more likely to do is get my
braindead PlanetEarth out of the closet and install
ROMS into that so I could run it as a seperate device
all together. Not what I was hoping to do, but oh
well.

Thanks again,

Mark
