That's because you're probably using just a normal 1/4" cord right, not a 
TRS one?  The normal one can only "hear" one channel, L or R depending on 
how far it's pushed into the jack.  To hear both from only the one output, 
you'd need to get a stereo cable, or an "Insert y" cable.   Why not just 
use two cables, one for each output?  Much easier....

ahh ok, thats why i can hear everything out the right... i still am having 
a 
problem w/ stereo then.  cause when im coming out of the L output tracks 
that 
are panned to the right side are barely coming out but when i pull the 
cord 
like halfway out and hold it there i can hear it out of the right.  sorry 
if im 
not making sense but i dont know all the correct terms.  and thanks for 
your 
help realm
