I guess while we're at it: 1: Realtime Groove Quantize - I've been wanting to get a TrapKAT to use with my -7... http://www.alternatemode.com/trapkat.shtml 2: Some sort of patchcord for transpose would be titties. Or even just a function to transpose all the notes on a track up or down. 3: I wish X-MIX mode would remember the last pattern you mixed to... I tend to organize my stuff all over the 8 pattern banks, and it can get tedious hopping around through all of them. 4: A graphic EQ I think should complete my list. Either something that would let you cut frequencies out per preset, or just a nice passive EQ display to mix stuff better would be great. What EMU should really do is come up with a companion Sampler/FX unit that would go along side the xx7's perfectly. I mean hell, sampling is one of the things that you guys to best... If you do, make sure it comes with compression!!! sapo --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "phonixceo" <phonixceo@h...> wrote: > To the guys at emu, the fact that you feed off this forum is > tight. 1st i'd like to see a downloadable software upgrade that > allows a onscreen display for when you have the unit in the studio. > on screen you'll naturally have a larger display and allow you to do > pattern/song transfers with the click of a button.now i know some > smart ass will say check out eloader, but i'm talking about a > interface like fruity loops where you can use ya pc screen when > banging out beats. 2nd i'd like to be able to build my own kits on > the unit. 3rd i'd like for the unit to be able to at least read > samples via usb. other than that, tis is the most incredible unit on > the market especially for the price "hands down".
