Re: [xl7] Alarming behavior...

Does this only happen while you're playing out? I had very some weird
issues last week during my live set too:

- 16 measure patterns looped for 32 measures, even though 17-32 were
blank.
- Patterns wouldn't switch even though they were queued correctly, the
current pattern would play indefinitely.
- Pressing Edit+Track Mute to select a new track would cause the XL-7 to
play random sounds not from the Preset assigned to that channel.
- Lots of other stuff that killed the set.

Never seen any of these before, and haven't seen them since no matter what
I try. After some talks with Emu, we are both inclined to agree it was
most likely issues with the mains power at the venue, it was probably too
low. I know I'm buying one of those cheap USB power supplies ($40) from
Office Depot to remedy the situation in the future, might want to look
into that as well.

Hi all... my XL is beginning to develop a habit that makes me worry a
bit...

I'll be playing out, editing a pattern or a song, and as I push
various buttons, my display begins to fritz out... It begins to
slowly display random characters... they don't look like random parts
of the LCD lighting up, but maybe some sort of foreign alphabet?!

And to top it off... I think it's getting more frequent, and crashing
faster with each occurrence! That could just be me getting gear-
paranoid though...
