Check to see that the arp isn't forced on in the preset view (the
button under the LCD).  If arp is on (indicatied by A:on), it uses the
preset arp even if it is disabled in the preset.  If you want it to
obey the preset, set it to A:P which means "use preset".

It sends a MIDI stop and SPP locate, as well as all notes off for
external tracks.
